Can everyone see all three strips on all browsers?

Okay, I finally said screw it and created a new blog over at Wordpress. And by that I mean I attempted to open an account but .... wait for it... their system is either down or rejecting me personally.

The universe is clearly conspiring to prevent me from showing these three images to the public. This is the sort of thing that makes me think we're software simulations and not free creatures in a real world.

I'm open to suggestions. Can anyone suggest a way to display images on the Internet? I've heard it's a thing.

I'm seeing something similar now that you've changed the files to jpegs. It works for me in Chrome on Windows, but not in Firefox or IE11, and not in Chrome on Linux.

When it works, the Content-Type is: image/jpeg

When it doesn't, the Content-Type is: text/html; charset=utf-8lias

Scott,

It looks like your images are being sent with the incorrect MIME type. Chrome Developer Tools says the following:

Resource interpreted as Image but transferred with MIME type text/html: "http://dilbert.com/dyn/tiny/File/RobotsReadNews1.gif"

Have your techie or hosting company look into that.

Now it gets weirder. It works fine chrome for me, but if I open up an incognito window the images disappear, and even if I put the url for the image straight into the incognito window it doesn't show. Truly strange!

As far as GIF viewing...

On my PC, Windows 7, 64-bit, SP1:
Chrome (Version 32.0.1700.107 m) = NO
Firefox (27.0) = NO
Thunderbird (24.3.0) = NO
IE (11.0.9600.16518) = NO

Also, like someone else mentioned about the "Notify me when someone posts a comment for this entry", I check it, and then I get an email saying someone wrote something, but then I don't see the comment if I go to the blog via web browser or RSS. This doesn't always happen, but usually when it's been a few days since anyone has posted, and then someone late to the party comes along and makes a post.

Also, both yesterday and today I got emails from "Somebody's posting on Dilbert.com... " neither of which I clicked the box for. So that's something else that's broke. Seems like you're whole site's going down the toilet. Have you hired Wally as webmaster?

None of them work in Chrome or IE, but they do in Firefox

Yes in IE, no in Chrome (Windows 7, 64-bit).
I see you have many png images on your page. Any chance you could save the comics as pngs and see if that works?

I think you're focusing too much on browsers. Looks like your static file server is messing up: sometimes the image is not found, other times it is. I'm using two instances of Firefox 26.0 and seeing both cases. My blind guess would be one of your Apache/PHP processes being messed up.

I'm getting undefined placeholders, but the last one worked fine.

I can't see them in Chrome on a Mac, but I can in IE 8 on my Windows 97 virtual machine.

P.S. I like the sarcastic humor in these strips. Hope to see more of them.
