To Biden: That's nothing, I predicted every event of the last 50 years. Twice.

My favorite part of the story:

"You said that?" Osnos asked.

"Absolutely, positively," Biden replied. "And he looked back at me, and he smiled, and he said, 'We understand one another.'"

You forget, Scott IS a robot, albeit a moist one.

Awesome strip!

The secret launch code was recently changed - from 000000 to 123456

(The part about all zeroes is true!)

Love the third panel particularly... I think this is one of the funniest.

I miss the newsletter and especially Dogbert's contributions.

Shouldn't the robot be pointing out that no one has a soul?

I'm trying to imagine the context in which Biden's soul exam was delivered. Was it a State Dept !$%*!$%* party? A sauna adjacent to the Russian Parliament? Was Biden in charge of doing "soul checks" as world leaders entered the U.N.? Is Biden actually Satan, and Putin was trying to sell his soul a second time?

Oh, for the joyous days of the DNRC Newsletter. Psychologists will debate for years what Scott's transition from dog to machine means in terms of his evolving world view.

Of course, since Scott usually 'runs' for president every four years, one wonders how he would describe himself in that venue:

Soulless? Yup.

Geriatric? Hmmm.

Fortune teller? One could make a case, based on some of the things he presents as fact and some of those things he dismisses as myth.

I suppose we can all thank God, or whatever you believe in, if anything, that the Secret Service will never give Scott the launch codes, either.

At least the robot looks the same in each panel.

I agree with @wtllnew. This one doesn't have the usual "robot" point of view, especially the 3rd panel. Doesn't have that purely logical interpretation of events that prior RRTN had...

If you're going to present the news from your POV rather than a robots POV why not have Dogbert do it? Youd get the same effect, except you wouldn't have guys like me going on about how you're presenting it.
