People often ask me if my editor ever rejects particular Dilbert comics for one reason or another. It's rare, but it happens. In fact, it happened yesterday. You won't see this comic in newspapers. I guess I went, um, a little too far. You be the judge.

Wow. That reminds me that I have hardly read a decent Dilbert joke in the last ten years though I only look into them occasionally. Well, the first ten to twelve years of the comic were great, then it got more and more pointless over time. At least the Dilbert series was nice and the blog is quite interesting sometimes.

Now, it's out... Sorry for that.

See, and in the first two strips, I thought you were setting up some sort of nuclear explosion / mushroom cloud joke...

No facility to share the strip on Facebook or twitter? THIS IS NUTS! No pun intended.

Whoever refused to run it should be sacked.

I am truly, honestly surprised. Have you ever watched "2 Broke Girls"? Prime time on CBS. They could do this joke and it would be phenomenally tame compared to what they normally do.

Male genitalia is always poison. If you'd used female parts or gender neutral ones, you'd have been fine. :-)

"This is nuts." "You're holding it upside-down".

Yeah, perhaps a little too far. Although, to be honest, I haven't stopped chuckling since I read it :)
