Sure. Webster's definition 1a clearly refers to the Arthropod phylum. The fact that I offered one correct technical word for "bug" out of multiple potential meanings doesn't change the fact that you offered none. Insecta is not equivalent to bugs, regardless of whether insects are an element of "bugs" (definition 1a) or "bugs" are an element of insects (definition 1c).

Although I appreciate your condescending to scold me because something causes you trivial discomfort, barry, I must say that throwing around technical words incorrectly bugs me. Why invoke such precision if you have such an imprecise grasp of the subject?
