I have to disagree here. Running is one of the greater sports out there. At least for me. Yes you are tired at the end, but it is a good tired.
But during the running you are alone, free to think and ponder, enjoy nature (depends on where you run) and I usually feel great the after about an hour and I have taken a shower.
The being hit by a truck part is still true unfortunately ;p
