When this strip came out, over 20 years ago, I was a Mensa member and I messaged Scott saying I thought his recent Mensa strips had been pretty funny.I assume Scott remembers replying that he *used* to be a member of Mensa, but they revoked a portion of his IQ when he failed to pay his dues.

@pendy . actually when you got something to sell, the charisma and people skills is all that is required.. acual intelligence is only in the way.

It all depends on what you apply your intelligence to. Quantum physics usually isn't very lucrative. You need something to sell, the motivation to do it, and sometimes some charisma and people skills are required.

To jump this odd conversation back to 2008, Intelligence doesn't help make money. Owning your own mint does.
