It's interesting to see the creation process of the Dilbert Universe from the beginning. We have a chance to look at all the strips in chonological order and it is somewhat fascinating to see the evolution of all characters up to today's strips.
This evolution is somewhat darwinian. Some characters stayed in the background or vanished while others evolved and matured quite rapidly, maybe because they better fit in their environment.
This is interesting because despite the fact that Scott Adams is The Creator of Dilbert Universe, there is definitely an evolution concept here. Could it be the same for our own Universe?
Applying darwinian concepts to a comic strip universe sounds quite interesting to me, and probably to others. In this boring working place, to have something funny to analyse is a blessing.
