One: Look up the words "parody", "comedy", and "joke" in a dictionary.

Two: Name another comic strip with a garbage man as one of the only intelligent characters in it.

-There's probably a name for the error you are making here but I don't know it. Anyway, you agree with the point made, and you think highly of Scott in general, so then you go on and praise him beyond his merit. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT ASTUTE OF SCOTT ADAMS!!!!! I agree with the point made, but there isn't a trace of remarkability in it! NOT NEW, NOT GROUND-BREAKING!
Yes, a lot of people don't realize that many geniuses have menial jobs, or even no jobs, but it's not like it's some esoteric truth which Scott discloses. The one other character that comes to mind is Guinan from Star trek but there are many more, it's even a type of clichÃ© (which is not to say that it isn't real).

The garbage man is the third best character. First Dogbert, then Alice, then the garbage man.
