Scott Adams wasn't calling out the earthquake. In 1991, Haiti experienced a coup that ousted Jean-Bertrand Aristide and saw the installment of Raoul Cedras. If you want to credit Scott Adams with predicting something, credit him with predicting Operation Uphold Democracy, which saw a predominately American force landing in Haiti to oust Cedras and put Aristide back into power (this strip was done in July 1994, Operation Uphold Democracy began in September 1994).

...Is this a spooky coincidence, or economic prediction? Dilbert and Wally *didn't* retire and Haiti got slammed by that earthquake... :S
