That is CLEARLY not catbert.. different color, and no glasses, different attitude (Catbert is an entire different level of evil, as the other seem to thrive on simply being a nusance).. Sure it was a cat, but except for that only fact there is nothing that reall would state it to be the same, and quite a few to state they are different.
No, no, no, no, no. This is NOT Catbert's first appearance.
It IS his first appearance in the workplace but Catbert turned up at Dilbert's house some months earlier.
I can't be bothered looking for it, but I recall some discussion in the comments about Catbert having stripes because the other characters did not have shading.
