This is probably the main strip that got me hooked on Dilbert. It is also the one that pops into my head the most often, usually at work. I wonder why that is?
My favorite is always when the boss comes up and wants to change the wording of my report/e-mail/etc to say the same thing with twice as many pointless words added in.
"Instead of 'projected completed on schedule' say 'the concluded projected completed on schedule per the pre-determined timeline' see, doesn't that sound better?"
Stargirl, if you´ve ever known someone so manipulative that he/she/it wants to control every aspect of your life, that´s a little bit like being micromanaged, so the funny thing here is, the PHB (pointy haired boss) wanting to be a more hands on manager, takes his "job" to a ridiculous extent.
