Woh! What is this thing?!
This is a social bar from the Dilbert team and our friends at Meebo. It is a cool little feature we've added to Dilbert to make sharing comic strips, Mashups and other content, a simple click of the mouse from any page.
Try it out – use the buttons to instantly send the next funny comic you read to your Facebook status or your Twitter feed. We’re adding even more ways to share soon, so check this space often!
The nominations for the PHB Award 2011 are:
- AngelMitch (leading with one dumb post and a duplicate repost);
- Kayzie (for not getting the joke even AFTER it was explained);
- Keegan__ (for being brain-dead yet still able to type);
- madmatter (for being in a tiny world all of his own).
And the winner is....
... all of them! They all get to go on Dogbert's Management Training Course where, if they successfully survive the lobotomy, they will be awarded an MBA and a position in management.
(Seriously, people. These cartoons and not THAT hard to work out. If you're struggling to understand a Dilbert cartoon then either you're still in school or already in management.)
I admire Wally's ability to insult his co-worker while complementing himself in the same sentence when asked to participate in a team building exercise with his boss in attendence.
This is great. Something is funny in all three panels. In the first, one can realize that that's ridiculous, they're talking to the back of the person beside them. In the 2nd, Alice BURNS the boss. In the 3rd, we have the intended punchline, with another BURN by Wally.
My read is either:
A: The prior post is correct and that Alice is predicting that it'll only take him two tries to guess the right "right" since he got it wrong the first time.
B: That was in fact his second try, both to the left and Alice is speaking ironically that in two tries he still hasn't found right.
I'm forced to conclude A simply given what is included in the comic.
My first thought about the 2nd panel was that this was his 2nd attempt to figure out his right. And I think Alice's eyes are closed out of disbelief and annoyance.
