How sad that the response from the Boss is so typical.
A subordinate cannot be bright otherwise they would be a Manager!
And only Managers can have useful and valid ideas!
Or the other (management) approach is 'to bury the good idea for three months then resurrect it as your own'.

I have to go with Wally on this one. He's so smart, he has figured out a way to never do any work, and still be a company employee every year.

I have faith in wally, he´s lazy, but not stupid, actually if he did any work, ever, he would be even better than alice and dilbert
