they are both right a "tetanus shot" and a "anti-Tetanus shot" its a prevention of the tetanus disease but they do inject you with a weaken dose of the tetanus bacteria.

I agree that the usage of English is very confusing. I had to get a "tetanus shot" in Canada and got odd looks when I called it an anti-tetanus shot, but that's what we called it in the old days of BBC English.
