First, I think it's hilarious that the boss asked the female engineer to be his ventriloquist (sp?).

Next, @ Naex, it's funny that you say that, because I do have to pause to spell 'definitely' correctly. For some reason, I can spell 'definite' which is what I think about when I want to spell 'definitely' because for some reason I want to put an 'a' in the word and make 'definately'. Weird.

There are established metaphors in comics --- the speech balloon, the thought balloon, the whisper, the shout, and so on. SA coming up with something like this for ventriloquism: that's genius. It's imaginative, it's adventurous, it appeals to one's existing comic-strip intuition, and most importantly, it's funny!
