Has a similar situation with a friend, she was telling our group how incompetent our poor, teenage barista was because she wouldn't serve something the coffee house didn't offer. She was telling the story loudly and since I go there all the time I had to loudly tell her that she was being absurd and that it wasn't the barista's fault. Awkward.

Ohman, there's nothing quite like the discomfort you get when your date tells a story about someone and you realize her victim was a much nicer person than she is. . o O (Oh damn. I got the psycho.)
