Andrameda, All right, all's good. I know that pay tends to be too low these days for people, and especially families, to get by comfortably and without a bunch of government assistance. I'm living on credit yet while I finish school. Wal Mart does employ a friend of mine, so I can't hate them completely, right? But I understand them to be kind of stingy about it as well, and we already know how they (and so many other companies) affect our nation. Yeah, this could go on and on. Back to our care-free Dilbert joys!
ewood, sorry to sound all uptight and stuff, but really all I can afford right now as far as clothes go is Goodwill and Wal-Mart (and actually, currently I can't afford anything). Prices are high, and paychecks are low. People like good deals, and America is way in debt. It's not really anyone's fault anymore, it's just people make it worse.
All I'm saying is, it's okay to buy stuff from Wal-Mart. It's cheap, yeah, but not dumb. My family is in a pretty tight spot financially right now, especially with me in college. I don't mean to say that you're a horrible person or anything, but please try to be understanding towards people who shop at Wal-Mart. ;)
For those of you who prefer to read witty comments on the Dilbert strips (like me!), I apologize for the debate! 'S my fault. =(
Andrameda, China's going to send people to the moon, they're getting so fat on the wealth our own corporations have been bleeding out to China. Meanwhile, Obama's talking about cutting out our 2020 return to the moon in his planned budget. I think that maybe, just maybe, some people buy cheap goods from Wal Mart without giving a thought to the greater good of our nation.
