I sent this comic to my Mom on her birthday one year. She thought it was funny, but she says I still have to wrap her presents.

Well, in one of the books SA refers to her as Dilmom, and I'm pretty sure I've seen a comic that says it too.The original idea was Dilbert, Dilmom and Dil-dog. But it would be very easy to misprint !$%*!$%*

There is a very consistent naming scheme for Dilbert characters:Dog -> Dogbert
Cat -> Catbert
Rat -> Ratbert
Mom -> Dilmom. Wait, what? Why is it not Mombert as wintermouse suggests? I think that neither Mombert or Dilmom have appeared in the comic itself, so these are names given only by the reader comminity (correct if I'm wrong). Or maybe this seems illogical only to us rodents? :D
