At my last place of employment, the PC techs would routinely use VNC to watch what users were doing with their apps during tech calls. More than one user held up pieces of paper to the monitor to show the tech what they were talking about.

Actually Frostythesnowman is correct. However most Remote Access Terminal Clients are detectable by up to date Anti-Virus programs. But it you are careless enough to leave your machine unprotected it is not hard for someone to access your webcam. I think people should stay up to date on security threats before giving the thumbs down to someone like this. Oh except for Plasma of course.

The scary part is that if people have the proper (or improper, depending on how you look at it) computer smarts, they can hack into your computer and watch you through your laptop's video camera. Don' keep your laptop in your bedroom!!
