When on a support call at another site, I asked to use the phone to make a call back to my team. They would not let me. I explained I was staff and that it was an internal call.
"No, because you are from a different department."
She refused to believe an internal call is free.
It took me 40 minutes to walk back to my building to look up the information I wanted. And three days to get round to returning to finish fixing the problem. :D
I love how all of these workers are some sort of creature lol, like the trolls and the demons. I've asked to use the company copier before, but was told I had to provide paper from my specific office....though mounds of company paper sat by for the company copier....
I'm always amazed at how I used to think Dilbert wasn't very funny. Then I grew up and was thrown into an office environment. Now it's the funniest freakin' comment because I understand all too well....
