Yes, Lyrthion, I do take language all too seriously in a context such as this one. But then, I've been seeing all sorts of mistakes creep into published articles and such as well, and I think these "careless slips" (from "Unachtsamkeit" in your comment) help lead people to not only make these mistakes where they are far less tolerable, but make the readers more blind to them. A thorn in the sides of us few who care, I guess.
Your German isn't bad, by the way. Must have been studying it quite a while.
