Woh! What is this thing?!
This is a social bar from the Dilbert team and our friends at Meebo. It is a cool little feature we've added to Dilbert to make sharing comic strips, Mashups and other content, a simple click of the mouse from any page.
Try it out – use the buttons to instantly send the next funny comic you read to your Facebook status or your Twitter feed. We’re adding even more ways to share soon, so check this space often!
Wow, it astounds me that so many people can have this so wrong. Corporate culture is not dictated by the people who work for it but by its management. SirXar is wrong (or at the very least has missed the point) and Scott is right in pointing out that Dilbert is in the situation where he tows the line, resigns or is fired. The whole point of Dilbert, it seems to me, is that Dilbert stays there, suffers pangs of conscience (occasionally) and we enjoy the insights he provides by staying and sadistically also enjoy the torment he suffers.
Insofar as Dilbert may not be willing to acknowledge this situation, he could be said to be "projecting" but that on its own would be a far too simplistic assessment of the situation.
On this occasion I think bosox is closest to the mark in his assessment compared to the rest of the comments I've read.
In all actuality, SirXar is either wound too tight (takes him/her self WAY too seriously), is trying to pass them self off as an academic (attempts [way too hard, I might add] to see things on a multi-dimensional, really deep level), or (and this is the easiest one), is just an ID 10 T who is FOS and pontificating...All fit
