I love how touchy-feely everyone is. NOT.

Who GAS how your (insert stupid story here) was? If I were your friend, I would ask you, if not, I will not and do not care to hear about it.

In any event, I repeat, I do not want to hear about it unless I ask.

The best would be if everyone simply waited until asked, "So, how was your vacation?"

Well, if somene desperately wants to share his/her holiday experience, he has to tell it in an entertaining fasion and make sure his/her listener(s) is/are not bored to death. Not "Blah, blah, I'm not interested in you not being interested in my stories..."

Bah. If it's about sensitivity, where's the sensitivity for the one who is languishing and suffering in a cubicle with no holidays in sight?

Have you ever had a bad breakup then have other people gush at you about their new romance? You really kind of want them to die.

Totally understandable.

I agree with Dilbert... I hate hearing about people's vacations... -_-' I just deal with it by nodding and saying "mmhmm" and "uh huh" and "yeah, that sounds wonderful" alot... as opposed to...communicating my honest feelings... >_<

Dilbert's interpersonal skills are totally disfunctional, but he reminds me of someone that I would probably get along with really well.
