Specifically, uses, the "wrongness" is that it's a tautology.
And I suppose that's not really wrong, but it is an indication of stupidity/ignorance/carelessness - not that we've needed an "indication" after so many previous comments from bosox.
@bosox04: By the way, repartee means witty and brief so by typing, "witty (and brief) repartee" you basically used the word "repartee" wrong. If you had typed "clever repartee", that would have made sense.
@nsignific: Actually, if you take into account space dust and micro meteorites, space has a lot of mass in it. As a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure that those two next to invisible particles make up the bulk of the mass in space. Bottom line, given the proper tools, you could heat "space". A good example of this is the cosmic microwave background radiation left over from the big bang. The CMB is about 3 Kelvins. Not exactly shorts and t-shirt weather but not absolute zero.
