I have to agree with everyone else who thinks that the new site is a backwards step.
I can understand that some people don't have flash for security reasons, and since since we're talking a but a comic strip here, a thing that is easily printed on paper, why should we have to go through the whole flash thing to read it?
Also, did anyone really think that having to scroll through a Sunday strip was easier that having it appear entirely on one page in a three line format?
The new things line color every day and the animations are nice, but I'd much rather that the site worked in a simple and clean way.

@Dogbert Rules
although we know how to make the site work doesn't make it good
the site is suppost to entertain not cause us to have to spend 3sec of work to make it work

and at first most of the links were broken but now its not as bad but the site is still of poor design

I am an average user and have no real technical knowledge but the site is working fine for me. I use IE 7 and have no issues. It is a little slow due to the flash but by no means is it THAT bad/slow.

I really do not understand how people with so much technical know-how are having issues with the site. I keeping hearing about Linux and having problems with viewing the site, if at all. Why can't you just use IE or Firefox? I have tried it on firefox and it works there as well.

Some please help me understand this.........

I am sorry, but I am really, really unhappy about this site now. The cynicism that has brought this about is incredible. Even the information I had to provide in order to register, in order to supply this comment, is making my blood boil. I am sorry, I would love to provide comment on the strips' content, which is what this new 'functionality' intended, but I cannot get past how utterly crass this site now is.
