I hate this flash stuff. Why complicate a good thing with crappy, unnecessary additions?

It seems some people are still fighting with a new "strip as flash" design, and are inventing ridiculous ways to see strips as gifs. If you anyone wants to see "new design" with "strips as gifs" , follow these instructions: install Firefox and and install NoScript extension. Mark dilbert.com domain as "untrusted" as soon as NoScript asks you. Scripts from any other sites (e.g. advertisements) can be allowed. Now the strip is not showed in any "flash" encapsulation. Instead, it is plain gif image, as in original dilbert.com site design. Also it is simple and quick to see past strips. The only thing that does not work, are animations, but I think it can be selectively allowed, if anyone likes them.

another workaround -
you have about 2 seconds after clicking on the cartoon on the front page when the full cartoon flashes before it enters the new format. hit ctrl-printscreen during that interval. open a paint program and paste the captured screen into it so see the complete sunday cartoon. fun, huh? newer isn't always better. maybe scott should do a series on websites gone bad. :)
