another workaround -
you have about 2 seconds after clicking on the cartoon on the front page when the full cartoon flashes before it enters the new format. hit ctrl-printscreen during that interval. open a paint program and paste the captured screen into it so see the complete sunday cartoon. fun, huh? newer isn't always better. maybe scott should do a series on websites gone bad. :)

Here's the only way I've found to view a Sunday strip: in your browser, do Page->Save as, and select Webpage Complete. Go to the subfolder it creates, and view the biggest .gif file in that folder.
Even the most charitable critic would describe this as a "workaround" for an ill-conceived redesign of the website. My theory is that the designers did this intentionally to get people to subscribe, as this is the only way to comment on how awful it really is.

I want a simple, logical and super quick way to view both today's comic strip and past comic strips. The old site format accomplished this very well. This new format is terrible. Please change it back, at least to something much more intuitive.

This new format as been up for a while now and no one from the web development team or Scott Adams himself seems to have noticed that Sunday strips aren't shown correctly with this new viewer. This is sad.

The new website is over complicated and seems to make use of technology just for the sake of using some new stuff, the site was much better before and should be changed back, or at a bare minimum someone in charge should start reading the feedback and make some changes.

An to answer InselAffe's quesiton, POS stands for Piece of Sh*t.
