Dogbert's tech support just completely personifies EVERYTHING I wanted to do when I worked in a call center.

Avidflame, I think I have identified your problem. It requires a sense of humor to appreciate this strip.

This strip/series strikes me as too trite. Like huge bonuses for executives of failing banks. Yes, yes, yes, tech support is often vacuous. Yes, yes, yes, tech support personnel often read from scripts. Yes, yes, yes, "click" as the punch line is a convenient mechanism for ending a strip. But where's the victim in the last panel? Where's the lingering empathetic bond between me, the reader, and the victim? I'm left isolated, unsatisfied. Not amused, not connected, but isolated.

Dell tech support on the spot. Whenever I need a haircut i just call Dell TechSupport and all my hair falls out. Cheaper than a haircut
