I hate advertisements in strips ... Maybe syndicators need to charge Scott for this particular strip (standard newspaper area * $)

Eh... I don't see it as unethical, just lame.
Something about it just falls flat in that it comes off as cheap. Like the Dilbert burritos game a while back. Somewhat fun, but that was all.

Scott, I agree with some of the previous posters that this comic is an embarrassing self promotion. You haven’t even declared your interest in the company. Have a think about it … you wouldn’t appreciate this behaviour from someone else.
