@DilGirl - I assumed that most people must not have studied Geostationary Satellite Launching. I did not mean to belittle anyone's intelligence. In fact, half the time I am reading the comments posted by readers to understand the jokes myself. We have very intelligent & humble people here in the readers section who help out in explaining the jokes when asked for...
So, you're saying people rated it lower than 8 because they didn't understand the last panel? That seems.. kind of insulting to everyone's intelligence.
I think it deserves the rating it has.. it made me chuckle, but I'm not about to buy a coffee mug with it plastered on the side.
This comic was just rated 7/10 when I saw it. It deserves better. I think I know why.
The Topper's words in the second section might have been understood by most.
But his words in the third section need some experience with the launching of satellites into space/geostationary orbits. Escape velocity is the velocity that a satellite must attain to break itself free from the Earth's orbit.
