Mr. Dog revealed his ploy too early. The guy didn't purchase the laptop yet. Of course, the guy could then sell laptops to other idiots and become rich.

He will never get fired. If he does not perform, he will not get paid. Pure commission can be a beautiful thing if you're good in a stong economy and don't care about a home life. He'd be found in a loin cloth, stealing food from the break room before he got fired.

Anyone like to take a guess how long the sales guy would have survived in the company? He would have been fired just before his first paycheck was due, that is after he had made a paycheck for the 'special laptop'!
