@leevclarke to continue the off topicness. I will agree with you. Those who cannot take the time to learn proper spelling and grammar, are basically screaming to me "I don't care. Don't respect me."

However, small mistakes such as transposed letters, or a fat fingered key can be forgiven and don't need to be commented on as long as the rest of the sentence structure holds up.

My new favorite strip. Mr. Adams, you have an uncanny knack for putting humor into the maddeningly asinine. I have faced this one down before, and can only shake my head in sorrow for the disappearance of sensibility in our world.

Fontaine, any dummy can look up the proper spelling of a word. The more important issue is usage, and VirginiaCentral was dead on (and I'm willing to bet no one was scratching their heads on what VC meant, including you). Spelling is not very respected outside of school, spelling bees or other formal media, but then again, that is a major force behind the evolution of languages.
