efAston - your general manager didn't happen to go on to become Australia's Prime Minister, did he/she?

My old general manager used to use the phrase "moving forward" as a comma. It was amazing hearing a phrase, which sounds perfectly meaningful, being stripped of all semantic purpose.

Ahhh low hanging fruit. How I love mangarese. Fuh, Fuh, Productivity, Fuh, Fuh.
One of my ex managers said to our group:
"Lets synergise our collective resourcefullnes and go after our low hanging fruit!"
I had to explain it to my coworkers:
"Us workers will do all the work while our manager gets the kudos for achieving our goals".
