cbccard, I think the fact that Wally would never waste his precious time looking that up in the bible reinforces the humor. So does the fact that he does not need to be worried of the PHB finding him out.

Yaass, not the Bible. The quote is from Longfellow's _Tales of a Wayside Inn_. It's the morale to a pretty good story, the student's tale. The correct quote is "All things come round to him who will but wait."
