I feel especially quirky about this particular strip. The CEO's head gives me wicked flashbacks of my alien abduction in '94. My nether regions have never been the same.

"Can I read it?"Funny- are they trying to show that the CEO is more interested in the mention of a best-selling book and his desire to read it, than anything else Dogbert has said?
His incompetence keeps him from understanding the meaning, or significance, of the caricatured (no pun intended) strategy that Dogbert has outlined and his shallow thinking simply pushes him to respond to the comment about the book, the only thing he can understand.
