The joke can be wonderful to those who get it, but it's bound to disappoint if these are only 0.000001% of the readers.

When I saw the reference to a poltergeist and then Tina was present in the next frame, it was clear that nothing good was going to happen. I'm going to wear purple to work today in honor of Tina the Tech Writer. :)

I started my first office job this week, and already Scott's nailed one of my experiences.

My first day my boss asked me to go and make a copy of something. I went, we only have the one copier there, and there was a woman making 500 copies for a brochure or something. She had 200-300 left to go and was running out of the special paper she needed.

So, I had to wait for her to find the special paper and then print out here additional 200-300 pages before I could make a photocopy of my single document. And we're a printing company. We make things like envelopes and brochures. Why was she using the copier to do it?!

I only had one...

5/5 for me.

It's a double joke people! He only visibly has one arm, and he is only concerned with the task at hand, not the woman going to the afterworld. That's cynical Dilbert for you!

"I only have one" says Dilbert, holding out a sheet of paper. Enough explanation? Wonderfully awful selfishness on Dilbert's part. I guess he's in that state where all he's thinking about is his project and nothing else registers. Been there.
