Is it a bad thing that I find myself only looking for the comments with negative ratings before I start reading them?

Don't ask me why, but for some reason the IT department on my (satellite) campus schedules automatic updates for 8am. A few weeks back, a pretty big patch was downloaded to every computer on campus. It slowed the T3 connection to the point that the Distant Learning Education department (where we get our interactive lectures from the main campus) could not establish a 2-way connection. Classes cancelled for the morning, Wally would have been proud.@rbk9065:
Most businesses are still using XP or possibly Vista, so this holds true in my book.
And doesn't Scott use a Mac?

This has Navy/Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) written all over it.In fact, it's so bad we have a new acronym for it: Non-Mission Capable Intranet.

Windows 7 was released to manufacturing on July 22, 2009, and reached general retail availability on October 22, 2009 - Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_7.And I am absolutely sure Scott is not complaining about Windows 7!So what is Scott trying to say?

@nelkins: You're right but let's look at the issue from Waly's point of view all he wants is not to have anything done :)@Welshman: I think that by "doing anything" it is meant to do something in hisw job role or anything that was assigned to him, but yes updating and rebooting involves actions from user so Wally was doing "something" :)
