Roger_the_Intern: Does it seem to happen on days where there is an early morning exam and there was a big party the night before? Hint, start taking the same classes the IT support people do.

Oh man, this is SO TRUE of a fresh Windows install. With the way some updates are dependent on other updates already being installed, you really do need about 7 reboots to get them all done.This strip is definitely 5/5 for me. :¬)

This comic can give a real lesson to us who learn from Wally how to actually DO something, which is to say, take exactly opposite decision to Wally's. The lesson is about what to do with all those "check updates automatically" flags.BTW: is it intentional that the registration form on the site has slight but noticeable smell of an ugly bureaucratic form? It even has two Russia's in it.

Windows - a fitting name. Holes in all your walls. Holes that need to be patched, replaced, upgraded, and when they crash, are broken - bugs are a problem. In winter they're frosted, or they frost the owners, so they must freeze up ...yada yada yada

This happens on Linux too but since Wally didn't mention "package dependency issues" or "triply-nested libraries with irreconcilable versioning problems", I guessed it was Windows.
