Why does everything bad happen to Asok? He blew up on a rocket testing it, got turned into a candy bar, lost his soul, and now is a modern day Pinoccio with a twist. It seems that Asok's life never gets better, I mean after all, he still is an intern.
Kalessin, he'll have to do more than that, like join a monastery with a vow of silence. To quote Dr. Gregory House: "Everybody lies." (I think someone even wrote a book trying to prove it based on the fictional House's "philosophy".)
As for Asok: Does lying to himself, without anyone else knowing, without verbalization, count? (We all do that too. I lie to myself all the time.) If so, he might as well get a rhinoplasty ASAP.
