Used to drive my bosses crazy that I refused to used any of their "official" methods of documentation. If I had I would have documented 90% of the time and only actually worked 10%. They didn't seem to understand the logic. They couldn't explain work to the auditors, but they could show documentation. They would back that up with one client being happy with the result but somehow the dissatisfied clients were ignored because they never got to the documentation stage. I understand Wally is trying to avoid work, but a lot of the time documentation has the same result.
I wonder how much of the glaciers problem could be changes in rainfall caused by the redirection of rivers and streams and the changes in the amount of water evaporated in different areas because of it. It would be kinda interesting to find out.
