Exact depiction of the executive management of my company. They have no knowledge or desire to pick good proposals from the bad ones. Favoritism is exactly how they work. The more failures you have had in the past, the more new projects you are likely to get.

Incidentally, the correct answer is probably "Ask the pilot", since the pilot should know where we are and the correct time - assuming he wasn't hit by the coconut of course.

Management has just announced that it's going to lay-off its technical staff after transitioning the workload to the outsourcing company. Management is the arrow-shooter, while the technical staff is the monkey. Telling time represents all the basic functions that need to be done between the announcment and the completion of the transition. PHB's only solution is to ask the monkey and hope he doesn't hold a grudge.
