Wally has always been angling for the redundancy package so of COURSE he's spitting mad. Now he'll NEVER get it!

So I'm confused, Wally's face appears to me to indicate that he is steamed, possibly at having the responsibility that goes with critical knowledge for the first time in his life, other posters suggest that it is a look of evil, now knowing that he can't be fired.
For Wally, I always thought his greatest pleasure was from coming up with schemes to avoid work. Now he won't have that pleasure anymore, it will far too easy for him.

After all these years somebody finally spelled my last name right! And to think that my master plan was revealed to the world in a comic strip. I am truly honored. Thanks Dilbert!
