that was incredibly irresponsible of Dilbert! putting the PHB in the position of having to choose between awarding a raise or having to admit he's wrong? I mean, a paradox like that can tear apart the very fabric of spacetime!

That is seen as not working efficiently. Poor time management.
No bonus for you. BTW where I work, unless you are in upper management, "bonus" is actually two words...
