They would often find the most efficient way to get the task done.

pmeisel - you could go to a place that makes custom plates, etc. and have them make the cup for you. There is a place in Salt Lake City called "Get Mugged" that does this. Insofar as Wally is concerned, perhaps he should be called "Wiley" instead as he is invariably snake fast with his retorts, and they never miss the mark, either...

Pettsson,Wally could have called it an "ear canal" rather than "ear hole" or "acoustic meatus." Mixing technical medical terms with terms that sound like a five-year-old would use sound funnier. (Note: I corrected your spelling of "acoustic meatus" because my spell check didn't like it. Sorry.)
