I spent 34 years in tv news, 18 of them as a "camera guy". I saw myself in your camera guy. I used to ask questions at press conferences, especially when it needed to be pointed out that the Emperor had no Clothes. Most reporters today are much like your reporter. They have learned hot to be on the news and not how to dig and analyze. It's not just the stereotypical 22 year old college girl. Being an idiot reporter is a gender-neutral profession. I alerted my former colleagues to read it. The return comments could be summed up in one word: "Yes!"
