Let me reiterate my previous comment. I know (and knew) what cloud computing is as well, I just wasn't sure exactly what Dilbert was saying.

Well, it's all debatable. Those of us "in the know" can claim that the others "just don't get it", while the ones like the shrink can point out just how out of touch with "reality" the Dilberts are. Another alternative is not that "the cloud" is some alternate world, but just another way to communicate with regular, meat-space people like oneself. That's my personal interpretation and I prefer to keep it that way.

OK, I am somewhat sophisticated with respect to the cyber-world and I was not sure what Dilbert was referring to by 'the Cloud' I have certainly had meetings with and without video over the internet and of course in fiction there is virtual reality.
Was the Cloud supposed to be a reference to something that exists?
