One of my bosses, cell phone rings, "It's my daughter." Leaves the room...comes back an hour later. "Sorry, did I miss anything?" Lucky for us, the next group for the room were banging on the door.

funny... because my employer regularly expects us to multitask, usually on things that were needed last month or six months ago, but they're too stupid to realise it despite being told in advance on several occasions.

Alice makes it sound like the PHB has sunk to a new low, but I disagree. This is actually an improvement. There are things worse than being useless as demonstrated by the PHB over and over and over again.
