@Red33410,I'm sorry, but Dilbert is an engineer. He wouldn't use a 2x4, he'd build himself an Automatic Flyswatter that has a thermal tracking system which allows it to hunt down bugs by itself. I think he'd also never get over the fact that a 2x4 is really 1.75x3.75 (if it is still that size, it may have gotten smaller).

At least they both recognize the concept of "fulfillment". The PHB would probably have to ask HR what the word means.
