"Software can't be changed" that's the automatic reflex response from our software guys.Hardware changes are easier to implement due to it.

I have a coworker who perpetually makes harmless counter-points. I don't think it has anything to do with needing to get anything out of his system, though. I think he just doesn't know how to make a valid point...
