It wouldn't matter what the deadline was. Wally has no data to gather. The possession of data would require that he had done some actual work at some point, and we all know that never happened.
My guess is he would be able to do it in just 3 hrs, but why do so if the chance is 99% that she`ll be so not pleased, she`ll never ask him data again!
